Conveyancing Assistant

Location: Wantage

Job Type: Full Time , permanent

Salary: Competitive /Depending on Experience

Angel Wilkins LLP is a friendly, boutique law firm specialising in Residential Conveyancing and Wills and Probate. The Firm was established in 2010 and serves clients in Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, The Cotswolds, Bath, Bristol, Reading and across the South of England.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a friendly, motivated individual to join our Conveyancing team based at our Wantage office as a Conveyancing Assistant .

Role

You will be assisting the fee earner with their busy caseload and work closely together to provide high quality support to enable them to carry out their work, dealing with all administrative duties relating to client transactions and secretarial requirements including but not limited to:

  • Handling incoming and outgoing post, calls and emails
  • Liaising with clients and third parties as directed.
  • Audio typing and producing letters and documents.
  • Liaising with our accounts department relating to client matters.
  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to the fee earner.
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems

Experience of working in Conveyancing is preferred. The successful candidate should be motivated, keen to learn and be able to manage workloads effectively and efficiently.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or similar role
  • Typing and audio typing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word & Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

Post-Completion Conveyancing Executive

Location: Swindon Office

Job Type: Full Time, (or minimum of 4 days), permanent

Salary: Competitive/ DOE

We are looking for an experienced Post-Completion Conveyancing Executive to join our busy conveyancing team. This role focuses on managing post-completion processes on purchase files and provides essential support to fee earners, lenders, and clients.

This role would particularly suit a qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer seeking a step away from fee earning, client billing, and target-driven work, while remaining within conveyancing.
